Tagup Selected for 2024 National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) Propel Hawaii Program

We are proud to announce Tagup is one of ten companies to be selected for the 2024 National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) Propel Hawaii program. The program brings together a cohort of companies with technologies to enable the Air Force and its partners to operate as a ready, innovative, and agile force in the Indo-Pacific region.

What is the NSIN Propel Hawaii Program?

NSIN is a program office in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) within the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). NSIN collaborates with defense, academic, and entrepreneurial innovators to solve national security problems in new ways.

Companies in the NSIN Propel Hawaii cohort will work with the Air Force and its partners to scale commercial innovations in three key areas: (1) collaborative planning and execution, including supply chain and logistics; (2) Agile Combat Employment (ACE); and (3) camouflage, concealment, and deception (CC&D). The cohort will work alongside the United States Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Science and Technology and the 613th Air Operations Center (AOC), Hawaii Technology Development Corporation (HTDC), and the University of Hawaii Office of Innovation and Commercialization. As part of the program, we will explore how our Manifest platform addresses the Air Force’s logistics and modernization needs in the Indo-Pacific region.

Advancing Logistics Capabilities with Tagup‘s Manifest Platform

Manifest for defense logistics combines novel machine learning methods with the military’s wealth of historical supply and maintenance data to enable next-generation defense logistics. Manifest’s AI-powered decision support tools dynamically optimize the supply and distribution of materiel to improve readiness, budget efficiency, productivity, and decision-making. Manifest has been shown to reduce inventory costs by over 20% while maintaining readiness, increase readiness by 13% at fixed budget, and increase logistician productivity by 25%. We are excited to work with the Air Force and its partners to explore how Manifest can advance the Air Force’s logistics capabilities in the complex Indo-Pacific region.
